Day 1: Arrive Perth
On arrival in Perth you will be transferred
to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy an orientation
tour of Perth including beautiful Kings Park.
Enjoy a welcome drink this evening with your
Tour Director and fellow travelling companions.

Day 2: The Pinnacles
Travel to Yanchep National Park, where you will
enjoy an Aboriginal cultural experience. Meet
Aboriginal guides who will treat you to the
enchanting sounds of the didjeridu. Visit Nambung
National Park to view the mystical Pinnacles,
formed by calcified limestone thousands of years
ago. Accommodation: All Seasons Geraldton, Geraldton.

Day 3: Kalbarri National Park
Visit Kalbarri National Park and enjoy the breathtaking
views of the Murchison River Gorge from Hawks
Head Lookout. Travel to Hamelin Pool to see
the world's best known colony of Stromatolites,
then visit spectacular Shell Beach, formed by
billions of tiny white seashells. Continue to
Monkey Mia this afternoon. Accommodation: Monkey

Day 4: Monkey Mia
Early this morning watch for the famous dolphins
that swim into shore. Interacting with these
magnificent animals is a truly unforgettable
experience.
(Note: As dolphins are wild their appearance
cannot be guaranteed). Perhaps take an optional
sailing cruise this afternoon. (B)
Day 5: Ningaloo Reef
Head north to Carnarvon, travel to Coral Bay
and join a sub-sea viewer and cruise over the
Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia's largest coral
reef.

Day 6: The Pilbara
This morning visit Giralia Station, a birdwatcher’s
paradise. Travel inland to the mineral rich
Pilbara region. Accommodation: Karijini Lodge,

Day 7: Karijini National Park
Journey into Karijini National Park. The startling
landscape of spectacular gorges, waterfalls
and rock pools, created by millions of years
of erosion, provides a striking contrast to
the stark red of the Pilbara landscape. Continue
to Newman. Accommodation: Seasons Hotel, Newman.

Day 8: Mount Whaleback Mine
Join a guided tour of the Mount Whaleback Mine,
the world’s largest single open cut iron ore
mine. Here, you will be amazed by the massive
pit and see the huge machinery in operation.
We then travel via Marble Bar to Port Hedland,
a major shipping port. Accommodation: All Seasons

Day 9: 80 Mile Beach - Broome
Travel parallel to 80 Mile Beach and the edge
of the Great Sandy Desert, before arriving in
idyllic Broome. See Chinatown and Stretters
Jetty where pearling luggers unload their fresh
catch of oysters. Accommodation: Cable Beach

Day 10: Broome at leisure
Enjoy a day at leisure exploring this tropical
hideaway. Directly opposite the hotel is Cable
Beach, 22km of white sand. Perhaps take an optional
camel ride along Cable Beach. (B)
Day 11: Derby - Fitzroy Crossing
Travel to the port of Derby and see the famous
Boab Prison Tree, before arriving in the township
of Fitzroy Crossing. Accommodation: Fitzroy

Day 12: Geikie Gorge
This morning cruise through Geikie Gorge, formed
by the waters of the Fitzroy River tunnelling
through the Napier Range. Look out for crocodiles
and sawfish. Travel to historic Halls Creek
this afternoon. Accommodation: Kimberley Hotel,

Day 13: Argyle Diamond Mine
Visit the Argyle Diamond Mine, the largest diamond
mine in the world, producing one third of the
world's diamonds annually. Travel to the outback
cattle station of El Questro. Accommodation:
Emma Gorge Resort, 2 nights, tented cabins with
private facilities, power and linen provided.

Day 14: El Questro
This morning cruise through Chamberlain Gorge,
a fresh waterhole abounded by tropical vegetation.
At Emma Gorge Resort there is time to hike into
Emma Gorge. (B)
Day 15: Wyndham
This morning we travel along the Gibb River
Road to Parry Lagoon Nature Reserve. See the
bird life of this region and learn about traditional
lifestyles. Continue to Wyndham to the 5 Rivers
Lookout. Visit Warriu Park to see the Dreamtime
Statues and rock art mural. Accommodation: Country
Club Hotel, Kununurra, 2 nights. (B)
Day 16: Kununurra
Today we see the Ord River Irrigation Scheme,
visit Hidden Valley National Park and Kelly's
Knob Lookout. (B)
Day 17: Ord River
Cruise the placid waters of the Ord River from
Kununurra to Lake Argyle. Visit the Durack Homestead.
Continue to Katherine. Accommodation: Paraway
Motel, Katherine. (B)
Day 18: Katherine Gorge
Cruise through magical Katherine Gorge this
morning. Travel to Darwin, stopping at Adelaide
River War Cemetery en route. Enjoy an orientation
tour of Darwin.

Day 19: Depart Darwin
You will be transferred to Darwin Airport to
connect with your onward. (B)
