Highlights * Yellow Water
Billabong Cruise * Katherine Gorge
Day 1: Darwin - Kakadu
Travel deep into Kakadu National Park. Take
a guided walk at Nourlangie Rock to view Aboriginal
rock art. After lunch join the Yellow Water
Billabong Cruise to observe saltwater crocodiles
and prolific bird life. Visit the Warradjan
Aboriginal Cultural Centre.
Accommodation: Gagudju Crocodile Holiday Inn,
Aurora Kakadu or Kakadu Lodge. (L)
Day 2: Kakadu - Darwin
This morning stop at Ubirr for a short walk
to view rock art.
Join the Guluyambi Cruise along the East Alligator River
in search of saltwater crocodiles. We have an
Aboriginal guide with us and with the special
permission of the local people, we will be able
to go ashore in Arnhem Land. Visit the Bowali
Visitor Centre. Opportunity for an optional
50 minute scenic flight (price available on
request) over the Arnhem Land Escarpment. Return
journey to Darwin.

Day 3: Darwin - Katherine
Travel south from Darwin and stop at the Adelaide
River War Cemetery. Continue to Edith Falls,
where there is time for a refreshing swim (conditions
permitting). After lunch join a 2 hour scenic
cruise through Katherine Gorge in Nitmiluk National
Park. There is a short walk to reach the second
gorge.
Enjoy a brief tour of Katherine before returning
to Darwin via Pine Creek. An evening stop is
made at Adelaide River where you may purchase
dinner (own expense) such as the famous 'Barra
and Chips'. (L)
Note: A reasonable level of mobility is required.
Weather conditions may preclude access to Ubirr
and East Alligator River. Alternative touring
will be arranged.
Departs: 6.45am Tue, Thu,
Sat & Sun (Nov - Apr) from Darwin (or earlier
from your hotel)
Note: Saturday departure visits Katherine on
Day 1.
Returns: 8.30pm (Tue, Thu
& Sun) or 7.30pm (Sat) approximately to
Darwin
