Day 1: Alice Springs

On arrival in Alice Springs you will be transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is at your leisure. You may like to book an afternoon town tour of Alice Springs.
Accommodation: Alice Springs Resort - Rivergum Rooms (AAØ6S) or Standard Rooms (AAØ6C).

Day 2: Alice Springs - Ayers Rock Resort

Travel through the West MacDonnell and James Ranges . Visit a camel farm where there is time to take a short optional camel ride (own expense). Stop at Mt. Ebenezer roadhouse for morning tea (own expense). Later stop to view majestic Atila ( Mt. Conner ), before arriving at Ayers Rock Resort. This afternoon is available for you to visit Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park . You may wish to book one of our Touring Passes.
Accommodation: Ayers Rock Resort - choice of accommodation, 2 nights.

Day 3: Ayers Rock Resort

A whole day at your leisure to continue with touring or activities (own expense) in and around the National Park and resort.

Day 4: Ayers Rock Resort - Kings Canyon

The morning is free. This afternoon drive through vast cattle stations to Kings Canyon Resort. This evening is at your leisure.
Accommodation: Kings Canyon Resort - Deluxe (AAØ6S), Standard & First Class (AAØ6C).

Day 5: Kings Canyon - Alice Springs

This morning make the climb to the rim of the canyon, where you will be rewarded with marvellous views of Watarrka National Park (for those with a good level of fitness). Continue the 3 hour walk around the canyon with your Guide as you hear and learn about the geology and history of this amazing formation. Alternatively, take the easier 1.5 hour walk along the boulder-strewn canyon floor. Return to Kings Canyon Resort for lunch (own expense).This afternoon travel to Alice Springs , arriving at approximately 6.30pm.
Accommodation: Alice Springs Resort - Rivergum Rooms (AAØ6S) or Standard Rooms (AAØ6C).

Note: During the hotter months, the Kings Canyon rim climb may not be available. Alternative touring including a guided walks at Kathleen Springs and along the Kings Canyon creek-bed floor may apply.

Day 6: Alice Springs

Optional Today you may wish to book an Aboriginal Cultural tour (own expense).
