Day 1 Tue: Broome - Geikie Gorge
You will be met at 8.00am this morning in Broome. See the sights of Broome including Chinatown, the Japanese Cemetery, Streeters Jetty and visit Ganthaeume Point for sweeping views of the Indian Ocean. Travel to the town of Fitzroy Crossing, located on the broad Fitzroy River. Enjoy an afternoon cruise through Geikie Gorge where the river flows beneath the towering limestone cliffs. This evening enjoy a welcome drink with your fellow travelling companions.

Day 2 Wed: Bungle Bungles
Our journey continues eastward today to historic Halls Creek, before travelling via the remote, rocky tracks into the Bungle Bungles in Purnululu National Park. This spectacular wilderness region consists of dome-shaped mountains, sheer walls and deep gorges covering an area of 500 square kilometres.
Accommodation: Bellburn Safari Camp, safari tents with share facilities, 2 nights. (BD)

Day 3 Thu: Bungle Bungles
Today we have a full day to explore the Bungle Bungles. The rounded rock beehive towers are delicate sandstone formations encased in a skin of iron oxide (orange bands) and Cyanobacteria (dark green bands). Visit Cathedral Gorge, a stunning natural amphitheatre. Later, explore spectacular Echidna Chasm, home to towering, ancient Livistonia Palms. (BLD)

Day 4 Fri: Argyle Diamond Mine
We visit the Argyle Diamond Mine this morning, the largest diamond mine in the world, producing one third of the world’s diamonds annually. Continue this afternoon to the town of Kununurra. Accommodation: Lakeside Resort, Kununurra, 2 nights. (BLD)

Day 5 Sat: Ord River – Lake Argyle
This morning we cruise the placid waters of the Ord River to mighty Lake Argyle, watching for wildlife including crocodiles and birdlife. Our local guide has a vast knowledge of the Ord River ecosystems. Later, visit the Durack Homestead. (B)

Day 6 Sun: El Questro
Travelling to Wyndham this morning, we enjoy spectacular views from the 5 Rivers Lookout. We then travel along the Gibb River Road into El Questro Wilderness Park, home to rugged ranges, ancient gorges and pristine waterfalls. Opportunity to enjoy an optional afternoon cruise through breathtaking Chamberlain Gorge.
Accommodation: El Questro Station Township, tented cabins with share facilities, power and linen provided. (BD)

Day 7 Mon: Mt Elizabeth Station
Today we journey through some of the harshest terrain of the Kimberley. Skirting the Cockburn Range, we head north and stop at the Miners Pool for a refreshing swim. We continue on to Mt Elizabeth Station, our base for the next 2 nights.

Day 8 Tue: Drysdale River Station
This morning we visit Drysdale River Station. Spanning over one million acres, this family owned and operated working cattle station runs approximately 7000 head of cattle. This afternoon you have the opportunity to take an optional scenic flight over Mitchell Falls, a permanent series of four magnificent waterfalls (highly recommended, minimum numbers required). (BLD)

Day 9 Wed: Mornington Wilderness Camp
We stop at tranquil Manning Gorge (conditions permitting), before continuing to Mornington Wilderness Camp, located in the Mornington Wildlife Sanctuary.The Sanctuary protects a range of ecosystems which are home to a diverse range of wildlife.

Day 10 Thu: Dimond & Sir John Gorges
Today we visit two of the Kimberley’s most breathtaking gorges today, Dimond Gorge and Sir John Gorge. See ancient red cliffs reflected in the waters of the Fitzroy River and take a refreshing swim. This afternoon relax and enjoy the tranquility of the area. (BLD)

Day 11 Fri: Mt Hart Wilderness Lodge
Returning to the Gibb River Road today, we stop at beautiful Bell Gorge with its cascading waterfall. There is time for a swim, before continuing to Mt Hart Wilderness Lodge, situated in the stunning million-acre King Leopold Range Conservation Park.

Day 12 Sat: Windjana Gorge – Broome
Take a walk through spectacular Windjana Gorge. We inspect the unusual formation at nearby Tunnel Creek (conditions permitting), before stopping at the Boab Prison Tree and Myall Bore. Continue on to tropical Broome, arriving at approximately 6.00pm. (BL)
